One of the things I loved about this hotel was its great location right by a beautiful canal. It was such a peaceful and picturesque setting, and being able to take a leisurely stroll along the canal was a real highlight of my stay. Additionally, this hotel was conveniently situated near two friendly pubs with excellent real ale. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a pint after a day of exploring.
I couldn't find anything that needed improvement during my stay. Everything was just perfect.

We had a lovely Christmas getaway at a cozy cottage by the canal. The studio catered perfectly to our needs, with a lovely decor and excellent facilities. The location was superb, right by the canal with beautiful views. We also loved the fact that there were plenty of dining options nearby, making it convenient when we didn't feel like cooking.
There were a few minor issues that didn't significantly affect our stay. The plinth around the shower was a bit awkward and protruded quite a bit, making it a bit uncomfortable to use the bathroom.

I had a fantastic stay at a very comfortable and relaxed place, with everything I needed nearby. The large room had a super comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. The hot weather was no problem thanks to the big fan in the room. The village setting was lovely, with pubs and an Indian restaurant/takeaway just a short walk away. my stay at Waterways Cottage was very enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

This hotel was a truly delightful find! the value for money was outstanding, with prices that were incredibly reasonable for everything you get. Secondly, the attention to detail was impeccable - from the fresh milk and cooking essentials provided to the funky remote control lights, they thought of everything. The location by the lovely canal was such a treat, and having two friendly pubs with excellent real ale just a stone's throw away was a bonus. Lastly, the rooms were incredibly comfortable, with a super king size bed and all the facilities you could need. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!
All was perfect, couldn't find any faults at this hotel.

The location of this property is fantastic, right in the heart of Stoke Bruerne just over the canal bridge. The self-catering accommodation in the modern annexe is a delightful blend of old and new, with a 300-year-old thatched cottage next door. The studio apartments are well-equipped with kitchens and free Wi-Fi, making it convenient for longer stays. The flat-screen televisions provided in the rooms ensure plenty of entertainment options. Free private parking is available onsite, a great convenience for those traveling by car. The proximity to Salcey Forest and Collingtree Park Golf Club adds to the appeal of this property. With Towcester Racecourse nearby, guests can enjoy the excitement of horse racing events.
Minor cleanliness issues in the bathroom.

Waterways Cottage is a great place to base yourself, with a peaceful location right by a lovely canal. the rooms are comfortable, with large beds and well-equipped kitchenettes, and the bathrooms have whirlpool baths for a touch of luxury. the hosts are friendly and provide everything you need for a relaxed stay. There are also some good pubs nearby where you can unwind after a day of exploring.
Minor inconvenience: It would have been nice to have a scourer in the kitchen for cleaning.

We had a wonderful Easter stay! The location was beautiful, with a canal and woods nearby for lovely walks. The accommodation was very comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay a breeze. the host was friendly and welcoming, providing us with a warm reception. The little touches, such as birthday wishes on the feedback form and supplied tea and coffee, made our stay even more enjoyable.
There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. the outside light couldn't be switched off at night, which was a bit inconvenient.

The facilities provided in the studio were great, with all daily use items being thought of by the owners. the key location of the studio was perfect as it was situated by a beautiful canal with welcoming pubs and restaurants a few minutes' walk away.
Although the studio was neat and tidy, there were a few cobwebs and dust webs here and there which was a bit of a downside. the mattress was not of the best quality and there was some dust on top of the bathroom tiles.
